Gratuity is not included in the price, but it is greatly appreciated at the conclusion of your ride.
If you enjoyed your time with your guide, please show them how much fun you had!
Once you have your reservation, if it has rained or is raining, please call us to make sure your ride has not been canceled! It can clear up near you, but be pouring near us!
It's always good to double-check and give us a ring!!!!
Leave your pets at home, please! NO DOGS! They can get stepped on when dealing with live animals.
Horseback rides leave at 8:45, 10, 11:30, 1, 2:30, 4 & 6

You must be at least 8 years old to ride.
You must be 18 years old to ride without a guardian.
If you are under 18, your guardian must sign the release form and be on the property if you are over 15.
Your guardian must ride if you are between 8 and 15.
No double rides; children can't ride with an adult.
Please leave all articles that you are not wearing in your car, including handbags.
No high heels, open-toed shoes, or flip-flops.
The weight limit is 230 lbs.
If we have 10 or more for a reservation, we will charge a 25% deposit at the time of booking.
We add 20% Gratuity to parties of 10 or more.
We no longer do Wagon Rides, lunch, or cookouts - sorry!!!
We do not accept GROUPON coupons.

GETTING HERE!
We are 25 - 30 minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge. Please note that as of June 8, 2026, work is underway on a bridge on Madola Road, so you will need to work around it! Click here for detailed instructions.
Please plan to be here 10 – 15 minutes before your reservation time.
We will try to accommodate you if you are running late, but we may have to bump you and still be charged for your ride if you are REALLY late. AGAIN, USE WAZE!!!! It’s the only WAY!!!
If you arrive more than 15 minutes before your reservation time, it won't get you on the trail any earlier (sorry!). When working with live animals, we have unforeseen variables from time to time, and sometimes people ride the horses a bit slower – we ask you to please be patient. To make sure we are all relaxed and having fun, please do not book another activity back-to-back to your Scenic Mountain Horseback Ride. We don’t want you to be disappointed if things take a little longer than expected.
