Once you have your reservation, if it has rained, or is raining, please call us to make sure your ride has not been canceled! It can clear up near you, but be pouring near us!

It's always good to double-check and give us a ring!!!!

Our beautiful ranch offers a superb opportunity for a safe and fun outdoor family adventure where you can let your inner cowboy, cowgirl, or 'lil buckaroo SHINE!!!  Is there anything more wonderful than a view of the Cohutta Mountains while horseback riding?

 

With more than 25 years under our belts, we offer everything you need to have an awesome, safe, and fun day at the Outpost.  Our friendly staff is here to help - just give us a ring!

Leave your pets at home, please! - NO DOGS should come with you - they can get stepped on when dealing with live animals!

GETTING HERE!

 

            We are 25 - 30 minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge.

 

Waze is the Way to go! 

For some reason, the other GPS apps (Google Maps, Apple Maps, etc) do not work as well – Waze will get you to our front door with no problem. 

 

Please plan to be here 10 – 15 minutes before your reservation time.

 

We will try to accommodate you if you are running late, but we may have to bump you and still be charged for your ride if you are REALLY late.  AGAIN, USE WAZE!!!!  It’s the only WAY!!!

 

If you arrive more than 15 minutes before your reservation time, this will not get you on the trail any earlier (sorry!).  When working with live animals, we have unforeseen variables from time to time, and sometimes people ride the horses a bit slower – we ask you to please be patient.  To make sure we are all relaxed and having fun, please do not book another activity back to back to your Scenic Mountain Horseback Ride.  We don’t want you to be disappointed if things take a little longer than expected.

 

 

Ride Details:

 

The ride is an hour ride, it is a Scenic Mountain View and is $39

An hour and a half is $59

A two-hour ride is $79

​

Gratuity is not included in the price, but it is greatly appreciated at the conclusion of your ride.  If you enjoyed your time with your guide, please show them how much fun you had!

 

If we have 10 or more for a reservation, we will charge a 25% deposit at the time of booking.

We add 10% Gratuity to parties of 10  or more.

 

You must be at least 8 years old to ride.

You must be 18 years old to ride without a guardian.

If you are under 18, your guardian must sign the release form and be on property if you are over 15. 

Your guardian must ride if you are between 8 and 15.

The weight limit is 230 lbs.

No double rides; children can't ride with an adult.

We no longer do Wagon Rides, lunch, or cookouts - sorry!!!

Please leave all articles that you are not wearing in your car, including handbags.

No high heels, open-toed shoes, or flip-flops.
